Marko Stout is a multimedia and film artist based out of New York City, best known for his stimulating narratives of contemporary urban society, where subjects often appear in a moderate state of distress, overwhelmed by their modern environment while still maintaining a chic detached sexy demeanor of a sophisticated twenty-first century city dweller. Marko Stout exhibits often include his experimental post-new wave (la nouvelle vague) art films with emphasis on the elemental origins of modern urban vision and movement along with a preference for unconventional narrative structure and for his working with non-actors. Marko Stout was born was born on September 27, 1962 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey (USA). He graduated from high school in Brick Township, New Jersey and received a BA degree in biology from Rowan University and his medical degree for the New York College Medicine. Marko developed his passion for art and film while living aboard a houseboat in a bohemian San Francisco community. Upon his return to New York City Marko Stout established himself as a part of New York City's downtown art scene, drawing inspiration from local street artists and the city's numerous galleries and modern art museums. Marko Stout's works can be viewed at numerous international exhibitions, galleries of fine art, private collections. Marko Stout solo galleries are located in NYC, Chicago, SOBE, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Madrid.
