Sara Huxley is a BIFA and BAFTA nominated film and TV producer, and a professional actor. She has worked on and delivered TV shows to the BBC, Channel 4, The History Channel, CBBC and Discovery Networks. In November 2020 she was producer on a BBC Sparks film The Main Part, produced as part of the BBC Monologues strand and directed by Rosie Westhoff. The Main Part is nominated for a 2021 TV BAFTA. Sara co-owns her own production company Mini Productions with partner-in-crime April Kelley. They were both nominated for a Raindance Discovery Award 2020 BIFA, with their debut feature Rose: A Love Story. The feature was written by and stars, Matt Stokoe (Cursed, Jamestown). Matt plays the lead role of Sam alongside Sophie Rundle (Peaky Blinders, Gentleman Jack) who stars as Rose. Rose: A Love Story is the debut feature for director, Jennifer Sheridan (The Snow Spider) and had its world premiere at BFI's London Film Festival in October 2020. It is being represented for sales worldwide by Yellow Affair, and already has a UK distribution deal with Signature Entertainment. The feature is a co-production with the The Development Partnership and Bone Garden Films. In 2020 Sara worked as Head of Production on Channel 4 travel show, Trip Hazard, starring comedian Rosie Jones with star guests Scarlett Moffatt, Jenny Eclair, Joe Wilkinson and Jamali Maddix.
