Rodrigo Galavis

Rodrigo Galavis is a producer based in Los Angeles. Born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1977, immigrated to the US in 2001 to pursuit his passion for film and visual arts. Since then he has produced numerous national and international TV commercials and award winning music videos. In 2011 he was called to produce Telemundo's Soap opera Una Maid in Manhattan. Telemundo's November 29 first broadcast of Una Maid en Manhattan averaged nearly 1.6 million viewers. The series finale broadcast on July 23 averaged 2.1 million viewers, and became one of Telemundo's strongest novelas ever during its run. Una Maid en Manhattan was nominated for Novela of the Year, Favorite Lead Actress and Actor, The Best Bad Girl, Best Supporting Actor, The Perfect Couple, Best Bad Luck Video, and Best Novela Soundtrack. In 2013 he was called to produce Nickelodeon TV Show Every Witch Way. The premiere episode had an estimated 2.10 million viewers. The second episode drew 2.86 million viewers, giving a large increase in audience. Every Witch Way was nominated for Best Children's Programming and Best Young Actress/Television by the Imagen Awards and Won Best International Program at the Kid's Choice Awards Argentina. Also in 2013, he was involved on the Live Documentary film Salsa Giants, starring Sergio George, Marc Anthony, Luis Enrique, Oscar D' León, Charlie Zaa, Willy Chirinos and Narrated by John Leguizamo. This film premier at the Curaçao International Film Festival Rotterdam. In 2014 he opened With Sugar Please, a full service production house based in LA with offices in LA and Miami. As WSP CEO he has been responsible of client acquisitions, production and post-production budget and supervision of daily operations. Current Accounts (Pepsi, 7UP, Lay's, Gatorade, OMD, BK, YUM, KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, BMW, Nascar and Direct TV). In 2015 WSP decided to expand t's operations outside the Advertisement world and opened it's FILM and TV division which produced the project Més Que Un Triplet Documentary Short (2015) and The Lambirds Documentary (2016). Currently working on developing the following projects.
