Paulo Muzy

Paulo Cavalcante Muzy, MD is Clinical Director of Clinica Muzy, a Multidisciplinary Team for Athletes. He is a Member of the Research Group on Metabolism, Nutrition and Strength Training, UFPR , Federal University of Paraná. He is a Full Professor of the Discipline of Exercise Sciences at Escola Paulista de Ciências Médicas. He is a Preceptor of the residency program of the Advanced Nucleus of Studies in Orthopedics and Neurosurgery, NAEON, He is a Professor of the Postgraduate Courses in Exercise Physiology and Training at Instituto Inades. He is a Professor of the Sports Medicine postgraduate courses at the BWS Institute. He is a Professor of the Postgraduate Courses in Sports Medicine and Sports Nutrology at Fisicursos/HZM. He is an IFBB Academy teacher. He was Medical Director for IFBB Brazil between 2011 and 2020. He is a Technical Consultant for Supley Food and Food Supplements Laboratory. He is the Scientific Consultant of the Magrass Clinics Network and Chief Medical Advisor for GDS, BlackSkull USA. He was Chief Medical Advisor MHP / Musclemeds (USA) & Technical development consultant for Probiotica Laboratories. He was also the Physician responsible for Trauma and Performance for the Brazilian Rugby Team in 2007/2008. Dr. Muzy completed his M.D training at the Paulista School of Medicine, Federal University of São Paulo. He obtained his specialty training in Orthopedics and Trauma at the Federal University of São Paulo. He also completed his Specialty training in Exercise and Sports Medicine. Dr. Muzy will be speaking at RAMSES on the Anterior approach for Latissmus Dorsi Transfer for Accesory Nerve Palsy. He is truly a unique individual who epitomizes an incredible balance of physician, athlete, family, body building, health, social media influence (over 4 million followers!) and military service.
