Riley Maaya was born in Biloxi, Mississippi. She began singing in choir at the age of 13 and has continued to do so through college. Riley also participated in her high school theatre program and was named a National Honor Thespian by her high school theatre troupe. She is a member of The Southern Chorale and The Southern Belletones. Riley is a proud member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and served as song chair. She also served as the president of her college's independent record label, South City Records. She will graduate from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Recording Industry Management and a double-minor in music and marketing.
