Cory Thibert

Cory Thibert is a theatre creator, actor, filmmaker and storyteller, originally from Ottawa, ON, he now lives and works in Vancouver, BC. The majority of his acting experience is in theatre, including roles in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, The Glass Menagerie, and Death of a Salesman. He is the co-artistic director of May Can Theatre, having co-created and performed in Tusk Turns One!, Wolves are greater than Boys, and Happiness(TM) - in which Cory was nominated for an Outstanding Male Performance Prix Rideau Award. He is also the co-artistic director of O Albatross currently touring Awkward Hug, and he produces films alongside his brother with their company Wolf Pelt productions. Cory married his passion for theatre and film by directing the feature length documentary On The Fringe, which shares the experience of touring the Canadian fringe festival circuit from the artists perspective.
