Youngkwang Joung

Youngkwang Joung is a dancer, known around the world for his power moves in Bboying. He lives in Australia (at 2014) but was born in South Korea. He uses the name Blond or Bboy Blond, a throwback from when he had dyed blond hair. Blond has performed and taught in many countries around the world. As a member of Korean "Extreme Crew", he won BOTY (Battle of The Year) in Germany 2007. BOTY has been described as the world's biggest break dancing tournament. Since moving to Australia, Blond has been representing Australia in Bboy competitions. In Korea R-16 2013, he was a member of SKB. Although this tournament (sponsored by the Korean government) is mainly for crews, there is a Solo Bboy section. Blond came second in this, on the way winning battles against Kareem (USA, Morris (USA) and Astro (China). He was runner up to Issei of Japan. In the episode aired on 10 April 2014 he was the most popular (ie public votes) male dancer in So You Think You Can Dance Australia.
