Karl Schmidt is an award winning producer, director, writer and actor. Since 1987 he has owned an operated Bristol Productions Ltd, a video production company. His awards include: Telly, Aurora, and the Golden Apple, for his WWII Documentaries (When We Were Kids... We Went to War, and During the War Women Worked) educational video (The Adventures Of little Drip), and numerous industrial and training videos. After touring the US and Canada with Missoula Children's Theatre, Mr. Schmidt studied video production at Eastern Washington University prior to forming Bristol Productions Ltd. As an actor Mr. Schmidt was the voice of Little Drip in the award winning animated video The Adventures Of little Drip, and the voice of G.C. The Garbage Can in Talking About The three R's. He has appeared on camera in numerous roles including: The SHOP COP in S.H.O.Ps... a spoof on the TV series COPS, Spokesperson for Specified Technologies, Grandpa for WA. State DSHS PSA, and a variety of local commercials. He has also been doing voice over work for local, regional, and national clients since 1987. He still loves to do on camera work, but as of 10.21.14 a majority of his time is spent writing, producing, and editing productions for his varied list of clients.
