Amrit Raj Gupta

Amrit is an Indian filmmaker who recently directed Dice Media's YouTube series - Operation MBBS, which chronicles the lives of three first-year medical students. The show received a heartening response from the channel's viewers on YouTube. The second season of the show, which dealt with the Coronavirus pandemic, premiered in March 2021. He has also worked on a mini-series with Tripoto called Trails 2 Passion as well as TVF's acclaimed series Gullak, which is on SonyLiv. Between 2016 and 2018, he worked as the Creative Head for TVF's sister company The ScreenPatti, a YouTube channel most popularly known as TSP. He is one of the youngest filmmakers to get a theatrical release for his award winning short film Ayan, in PVR Director's Rare Category in 2014. He made this short under one of the finest Indian directors- Vikramaditya Motwane, and subsequently worked on his superhero film Bhavesh Joshi as a Second Unit Director. Amrit started his journey at TVF, among India's leading digital content creators in 2013 and worked on their marquee shows including Permanent Roommates and Pitchers.
