Tiani's directorial debut was the 2017 comedy short 'The 31st Floor' which was funded by Creative England and the BFI. She co-wrote and starred in the feature film 'The Darkest Universe' which was nominated for the BIFA 2016 Discovery Award. The Guardian called it 'Absorbing, intelligent. A movie of strangeness and charm'. Tiani is developing her second feature.
