Matthew Wilks

Matthew Wilks was born in Canton,Ohio and raised in Wadsworth,Ohio. He began his career at the age of seven appearing in church plays and musicals. Throughout the next 15 years he honed his acting skills at many community theaters throughout northeast Ohio. In 2009 he moved to New York City to study at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. After completing his studies and appearing in several independent films and Off-Off Broadway plays he returned to Ohio to begin his career. (2012-Present)-Company Actor/Teacher with The Illusion Factory which tours throughout Ohio and the surrounding states. (May 2013-May 2014)-Appearing "Toga Party Terror" at Hilarities Comedy Club in downtown Cleveland While thriving in theatre work Matthew also spends time in film. He is perhaps best known for his work in the short film "Terminal" shot on location in Cleveland, Ohio.
