Mona Young

Miss Mona Young was crowned Miss Norway in 1953. Miss Young subsequently came to the United States in 1954 to compete in the Miss Universe Pageant. Miss Young placed 12th in the competition. She decided to live in the U.S. until her death in 2005. She met her first husband that was from Texas while she was in the U.S. She had 3 children and 4 grandchildren at the time of her passing.
