Christopher's knowledge for the movies has made him a walking encyclopedia of all things cinematic. Before entering the School of Motion Picture Arts (MOPA), he successfully completed IDEA (Illustrated/Design: Elements and Application) and made the Dean's List. It solidified his background in graphic design, and led to many interesting projects, including designing maps for the Senior Olympic Games in 2010, illustrating a children's book, creating promotional slides for the Vancouver International Film Festival 2014, and designing props, namely a poster for Back to the Future's Lea Thompson to look at. His review site, Cinelation, is a labor of love. Essays on various films garnered the attention of fellow reviewers as well as the producers of Synchedoche, New York (2008) led to an invitation to participate in a Critics' Round Table discussion of the film in New York City. This was included in the DVD's Special Features section. Christopher hosted a weekly screening of movies by such independent filmmakers as Neil Labute, Errol Morris, Nicole Holofcener, and Kathryn Bigelow. You'll probably find him sitting in the center row or closing all the doors at the back to make sure no light creeps in. He has considered draping his suit jacket over the exit sign to preserve the atmospheric tone while watching Gremlins (1984). He has directed several short movies and aspires to make feature films.
