Monika Lindeman

Monika Lindeman is a Finnish actress originally from Helsinki. She gained a BA Acting in Finland before completing a diploma in mime from London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA) and continued her studies finally graduating with an MA in Acting from East 15 acting school in London, where she was awarded with distinction. Working with several theatre companies, Monika toured the UK and performed a variety of roles at some of England's most well established theatre houses. Specializing in devised and physical theatre she was able to use this time to hone her skills and perfect her craft in front of live audiences. In 2015 she accepted a role, back home in her native Finland and became widely known, through Finnish TV drama Salatut Elämät, as the strong independent police detective Linda Eerikäinen. In 2016 Monika married English actor/musician Darren McStay and in 2017 gave birth to their son Samuel. Monika continues to work in front of the camera both in Finland and internationally.
