Fernando Bassani was born in Porto Alegre (Brazil) and graduated in Audiovisual Production at Pucrs. Fernando made his debut wile still in college, with the short film "Alice na Cama" (the film won the "Best Fiction Film" award at the II Festival MoveMundo de Cinema e Vídeo in 2014). In 2015, Fernando released his second short film: "Gutierres", about the Brazilian artist Pedro Gutierres. In addition, Fernando was the co-producer and assistant director in the short film "Inatingível" (2016) by Rodolfo De Castilhos Franco (the film won the Legislative Assembly award for "Best Actor" at the 44° Festival de Cinema de Gramado); co-writer in the four-episode miniseries "Toda Vez Que Dizemos Adeus" (shown by TVE in 2014 and by Prime Box Brasil in 2016).
