Rebecca was born on the Southside of Chicago to Robert and Debra, married since 1982. Her Father has been a mechanic for 43 years and her Mother has worked in the advertising business for 39 years. She has an older sister, Catherine. At a young age she had no idea how much she loved film. It started in high school when she would jump at the chance to do a video project. Rebecca always wrote, directed, produced, acted and edited all of the school projects. She decided to obtain her Bachelors Degree in writing; due to an illness that should have been fatal, she had to medically withdraw from SIUC. After recovering, she attained her Associates Degree in Arts from MVCC. Rebecca then attended Columbia College Chicago and received her degree of Bachelors of Arts: Film and Video. She now has worked on various films and photography sets. Rebecca loves to write screenplays, teleplays, and short stories. She also collects vintage cameras and books; she's proud to own a first edition "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Hemingway. She also owns a Bolex and various vintage film and photography cameras. Rebecca's proudest achievement was the launch of her own production company in 2014, Anchored Owl Productions, Inc. in which she named in honor of her grandparents, Martin and Marian.
