Hana Supandi first came to United States when she was 11 years old in 2001. Initially, she grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina for six years where her mother was in the mission to complete her doctorate degree at North Carolina State University. Then, her family moved to a secluded town of Lexington, Virginia then to Murfreesboro, Tennessee. From there, she began to appreciate the diversity of music that Nashvillle has to offer. She attended Middle Tennessee State University pursuing her passion of food science. Her first love was dancing. Hana's first initial breakthrough was choral speaking. Choral speaking is popular among Malaysia as it derived from the Greek theatre practice. It is consisted of the reading or reciting of a story spoken by a group often using various voice combinations and contrasts to bring out the meaning or tonal beauty of a passage.
