Gavin Lewis stars opposite Tim Blake Nelson and Stephen Dorff in Hideout Films' western thriller Old Henry, directed by Potsy Ponciroli. He will next be seen appearing in Apple TV+'s dramedy Shrinking, starring Jason Segel & Harrison Ford, from the creative team behind Ted Lasso (Bill Lawrence and his Doozer team). Prior to which, he was a Series Regular in HBO Max's reboot of the popular 1980s sitcom Head of the Class (also produced by the Doozer team). Lewis is known for his role opposite Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington in Hulu's limited series Little Fires Everywhere, based on Celeste Ng's best-selling novel of the same name. His first real starring role in TV was the lead & title character in Netflix's multi-cam comedy Prince of Peoria (playing "Prince Emil"). The son of two theatre professionals, Lewis was classically trained at a very young age. He began his career on stage playing the young prince Arthur in Shakespeare's King John. He has appeared in a diverse range of television series, including Paramount Digital's Maximum Ride, Syfy's feature Ominous and NCIS: Los Angeles. Continuing with his theatre roots, Lewis starred in The Heart of Robin Hood at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles. Outside of acting, Lewis is passionately involved in raising Type 1 diabetes education and awareness. In working with the non-profit Beyond Type 1 organization, Lewis strives to lead by example and change what it means to live with diabetes.
