As a result of an intensive study in film, Buck's first foray into production came in 2011 when he embarked on a documentary about Michael Mann's lost epic The Keep. Currently, in post-production, the documentary explores Mann's working methods and the films unique nature over 8 years' worth of production and research worldwide. A World War II Fairytale aims to break away from the more traditional retrospective into territory explored in George Hickenlooper's Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse & Frank Pavich's' recent documentary on Alejandro Jodorowsky's unrealised adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune. In his second documentary on Michael Wadleigh's only fictional feature Wolfen, Buck explores the social and political landscape around the film's themes and story. 2017 - Helped initiate a rare revival of Eric Bogosian's Pulitzer Prize-Nominated play Talk Radio for its 30th Anniversary in London.
