Kim Childers

Kim's passion for history led her to complete an ancestral research. Her research revealed at least seventeen generations lived in Scotland and that she is related to one infamous person; a Great Grandfather was the King James IV of Scotland - the last Scottish King to die in battle at Fodder Field. That passion also led to the web-series Expedition Historian being created. Kim has a passion for photography and wanted to learn more about it. In 1993, she received her diploma from the New York Institute of Photography in Professional Photography. In addition to writing, directing, producing, Kim works as a Professional Photographer. She graduated from college late in life at the age of 46 in 2012 earning a Bachelor in Interdisciplinary Studies where she studied Broadcast Communications, Creative Writing, and History. Kim learns as much as she can about filmmaking with the mindset of; you can never learn enough.
