Brock Davis Mitchell

2014 Alberta Film and Television award winner for Best Director, Brock Davis Mitchell made his directorial debut through the narrative music video medium. Completing his first feature film "A Gentleman" in 2018. Mitchell's films have received international recognition and acclaim from representing Canada at the 2016 Toronto International Film and Video awards for Best Music Video; to his recent nomination for Best Director at the 2018 Alberta Film and Television Awards, winning for Best Musical Program. Mitchell's delicate sensitivity to emotion has inducted a standard of authenticity within the arresting visual language of his films. His cinematic approach and style communicates a mise en scène that represents a strong subtext of humanity and realism.
