Divine inter-sectional roots blossom in the form of a limitless, modern-day renaissance womxn. Award-winning actor, rapidly rising DJ, and classically trained dancer, Keilani Elizabeth Rose is a descendant of story-tellers, a voice for change, and the true embodiment of her ancestors' wildest dreams. Since her performing arts career launched into prominence, this accomplished creative has impacted global audiences with versatility transcending triple threat status. Portraying iconic characters on countless hit shows and major networks including Fox, Netflix and ABC, while also lending her musical talents in the live arena to collaborators ranging from the Vancouver Canucks to Tegan & Sara; Rose has a relentlessly expansive repertoire in film, television and music; and continues to deliver performances driven by a mission to unify and elevate. Keilani made her acting debut as a lead in globally acclaimed and award nominated feature films, The Color Rose (2020), and Woodland (2020). Rose began planting the seeds as a producer in 2019, and since then has taken the reins behind a meaningful collection of projects. The first of which is a short film, Within The Silence (created by Jade Tailor, The Magicians - SYFY). This story sheds light on surviving domestic abuse and is told through the magical imagination of a young, hearing impaired girl. Working with a $200K budget for this short, Keilani rose to the occasion dawning multiple creative hats as Producer, Choreographer, and Lead. She is thrilled to be part of amplifying the voice of the disabled community through this film, eagerly anticipating the impact it will have with its release. Unstoppable - even in the face of a global pandemic, she immersed herself in writing, creating, developing and producing during the quarantine; emerging with a complete original independent web series (Flimsy) and multiple feature screenplays in partnership with two-time Grammy award-winning artist and producer, Printz Board and Canadian co-writer and founder of Hawkstreet Films, Erin Hazlehurst. The announcement of her most recent collaboration, brings to the forefront a producing partnership with Cody Kearsley (The CW - Riverdale). Together, Rose and Kearsley will be delivering a short film titled, Breathe. A piece that illuminates the destructive, generational effects of colonization and explores the fight for resilience against addiction. Dedicated to implementing her platform as founder and CEO of Aloha Entertainment to amplifying messages of unity, equity, and diversity; Rose can't wait to see what the horizon has in store next.
