Tuan-Chiu Lin

Born in 1920, Lin Tuan-Chiu was a Taiwan's playwright, theater and film director. And also a producer: in 1957, he created the Hushan Film Studio and Yufeng Film Company. He studied at Tokyo, Japan, where he worked at Toho studios. Between 1959 and 1965, Tuan-Chiu directed six feature films, forgotten during many years. Recently, the Taiwan Film Institute restored some of them and unveiled them to the world. He died in 1998 (age 77).
