A.R. Kagan

Born in Los Angeles, CA, April Rayne Kagan began working in the music and fashion industry as an employee of Backside Records based in the San Fernando Valley. She moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2020 to pursue a degree in Visual Media and Cinematography at Nevada State College. She attended both UNLV and NSC before graduating in 2018. She has worked on many productions in the Las Vegas Film Community as an Assistant Director, and "Space Captain and Callista" was her directorial debut. She has won many awards for her music video "Shadows on the Ceiling" with music by David Rosen, (which also stars her daughter Alexa Kagan). She continues to stay committed to storytelling whether in film or screenwriting.
