Dan Smith is from London, UK. He's been writing scripts and making films since he was 12. After graduating with a design degree in 2001, Dan moved to London to take his first job running scripts around Soho, in the heart of London's film industry. He soon moved on to writing character breakdowns and script reviews for renown theatrical agent, Ken McReddie, before crossing over into Special Effects & Art Department in order to spend more time on set. Dan's next move was into production as a junior film editor, where he then progressed to become a professional writer/director for BIFA award winning producer director team Paul Katis and Andrew de Lotbiniere, producers of the 2014 BAFTA nominated feature film 'Kilo Two Bravo' (AKA: Kajaki). Dan has written and directed two independent films; a post-apocalyptic horror 'The Dark Hours' (2014) and crime thriller 'The Cocktail Waitress' (2016). He splits his time between Bangkok and London.
