David James Hamilton is a New Orleans born and bred improviser and actor now living in Glasgow, Scotland. He has studied acting under Jim Gleason with The Working Actors' Studio, Garrett Prejean with The Elm Theater, Ronlin Foreman with Dell'Arte School of Physical Theater, and Alex Pepperman with the Soho Shakespeare Company. He graduated from both the improv and sketch programs at The New Movement, where, from 2014-2018, he served as co-conservatory director, and improv teacher and coach. He has also graduated from the improv program at Two Friends Theater in New Orleans. In 2018, he founded Anubis Improv, creating and teaching an Improv for Actors curriculum in addition to professional workshops. He performs improv with the troupe Kinross Kasunick, and is a member of the film collective Windbreaker. He also proudly manages his partner's dog's Instagram, @dollytinyhead.
