Jesse Laurie

Jesse is an emerging screenwriter whose feature screenplay, Deep Down, has received international recognition as a finalist for the Emerging Screenwriters Genre Screenplay Competition and the Creative Screenwriting Unique Voices Contest (2023). Jesse's short screenplay, Raising Thunder, was shortlisted for the AWG Monte Miller's in 2021 before being selected by Screenwest for their Elevate+ initiative, where the proof-of-concept short film earned Screenwest's Scripted Development Funding to develop the feature screenplay. Jesse has collaborated as a writer and story developer on a variety of projects in development ans also freelances as a script editor and consultant, providing services for local and national production companies.
