David Anthony Prado

Born in Wilmington, Delaware, both his parents moved from Puerto Rico in their teens and always promoted the drive to work hard. This message was delivered to David and his three younger brothers Marco, Dennis, and Game. David discovered the love of performing at a young age; he first experienced the lights of the stage at the very young age of three as a tap and jazz dancer for Jane Samlock of Delaware Dance Center. David engaged the theater at the age of 8, participating and appearing in talent shows to include local theater and the Fraim Boys and Girls Club. The Boys Club provided a safe haven for David and his siblings, and a place to learn everything from the value of friendships, acting, art, and sports. David continued dancing until the age of fifteen, while continuing to participate in plays throughout High School, local theater, and acting workshops. His love for film and TV acting began to flourish at the age of 17, when he was involved with a summer week intensive with Cliff Osmond, character actor and television screenwriter. David is an active sports enthusiast, martial artist and lover of great music. He is a police officer and has been for over 18 years, he uses his experience, professionalism, and technical skills as a stable base for success. Unfortunately, David stopped acting, but after a long hiatus David began to feel the fire again to perform. David with support from family began to immerse himself in classes, seminars, and workshops. He was afforded the opportunities to perform with his local theater where it all began for him. Since then, David has performed in short films and TV projects. David has attended major workshops including intensives with Margie Haber in Los Angeles, Caryn West in New York City and John Palotta in Philadelphia. David continues to work on this wonderful craft meeting and working with phenomenal people along the way.
