Chantal Elyse is a Queensland based actress and singer self-taping for Australian TV and international US productions. After completing her Associate Diploma with the Trinity College London in Speech and Drama during her schooling years, Chantal went on to train at the New York Film Academy, where she obtained her Diploma of Screen & Media majoring in Acting. From there, Chantal then went on to further hone her skills under the tutelage of casting director Tom McSweeney from McSweeney Newman Casting at the Warehouse Workshop Internship. Chantal has also been lucky enough to train with a number of industry professionals including Greg Apps, David Newman, Anthony Brandon Wong (The Matrix) Thea McLeod, Brad McMurray (Neighbours) Malcolm Kennard (Catching Milat) Peter Kent, Cinzia Coassin, Ben Parkinson (Ben Parkinson Casting), Joey Vieira and Kristina Sexton (On-Set Coaching). In 2014, Chantal was awarded 'Best Actress' at the Australian Screen Industry Network Awards (ASINS) for her role in the short film 'Betty Boo.' Chantal also won 'Lead Actress in a Short' at the Indie Fest USA International Film Festival for her role in the short film '[Insert Words Here]. She has worked on various film productions including Under the Overpass, The Third Kind, Long Shadows, San Andreas and Brothers Keeper. In 2018 Chantal went on to receive her 2nd 'Best Actress' award for her role in the award-winning web series 'Growing Pains'
