Patrick Henry was born in Los Angeles, Ca. in 1978. He grew up in East LA the oldest/middle child of a blended family. He attended both public and private schools where his love of writing and the arts was evident. Involved in theatrical productions, Shakespeare competitions, Comedy Improv teams, and Drama clubs through out elementary and high school. Having grown up watching UK comedians and loving the movies being done in Europe, he wanted to pursue writing in the U.K. Life had other plans when out of High School in 1997 he became a father and married his High School sweetheart. Working jobs from Loss Prevention Detective to Customer Service Manager, he never forgot his calling to the arts and at 21 entered Art School where he gained his B.S. Degree in Multimedia Graphic Design Technology in three years while working 40-hours a week. Originally entering art school to be a traditional animator, he discovered his love of storytelling and a new found appreciation for the art of editing superseded his love of drawing. Patrick applied and was accepted into The Los Angeles Film School with an emphasis on screenwriting, editing, and directing in 2002. In 2003, while going through their divorce, his wife succumbed to schizophrenia and was hospitalized for an extended period of time. Patrick put his career plans on hold to care for his now three children full time. Patrick worked at companies like NCSoft and for the popular video game Lineage 2. Patrick was also an anti-piracy investigator for the Walt Disney Co. Patrick was in charge of forensic investigations into all Disney intellectual property. During his time working 40-hour a week jobs where his skills in the arts and investigations were being utilized, Patrick continued to write and hold onto his passion of creating original content to be enjoyed by the masses. Patrick created Geek Speak TV in 2011, a website and social media page which is dedicated to Geek Popular culture. He built Geek Speak TV's fan base by attending events and writing articles as often as he could which earned the site "Press status". His first book is "Dating For Geeks (How To Date a Geek)" and is a "comedic/how to" book for dating in the Geek Community or for those that find themselves dating a Geek. Patrick is working on his next novel, A Historical Fiction, scheduled to be ready for print in the Fall. He has several other novels planned ranging in genres including: Historical Non-Fiction, Dark Comedy, Romantic Comedy, Based on True Events, and Horror. Patrick has never re-married, is single, and living in the Los Angeles Area.
