Laurie Snyder is the great great granddaughter of Louis Le Prince, who on the 14th October 1888 shot the world's very first film in Leeds, Yorkshire, England, UK. She lives in Memphis, Tennessee, USA and has become the family's media representative when dealing with all questions relating to her famous ancestor. She has never visited Leeds, nor the UK before and she is planning a trip for the UK premiere screening of The First Film the documentary feature that proves her the case for ancestor as the father of cinematography. It is her intention to return to Leeds important papers and designs relating to Le Prince's pioneering work.
