Chaun Domingue

Chaun Domingue was born and raised in Gretna, Louisiana located minutes from downtown New Orleans. He is the youngest of four children with two brothers and one sister. A four year starter in baseball at West Jefferson High School, he was one of six players vying for two full scholarships. Unfortunately, a knee injury five games into his senior year ended that dream. At the age of 18, Chaun decided to pursue a career in public service and applied to become a police officer with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. After being hired at the age of 19, he spent the next 10 years fighting crime on the westbank of New Orleans. During that time, Chaun initiated numerous high speed vehicle pursuits, confronted an armed robbery in progress resulting in two apprehensions and was shot at on two separate occasions, but it wasn't until the events surrounding Hurricane Katrina that would change his life. It was at that point he decided to follow his dream of writing. Chaun spent the next six months educating himself on the art of screenwriting and reading several screenplays such as American Beauty, L.A. Confidential and the Usual Suspects. From 2006 to 2014, he has written 8 screenplays while continuing his career in law enforcement as a patrol captain for the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office. In April of 2014, Chaun founded Alien Chadow Films to produce "A Night Without Armor" and many more.
