Winnie Carrillo was born and raised in Guatemala, and later moved to Boston, where she earned a bachelor's degree on screenwriting at Emerson College. She then earned her graduate degree from the Peter Stark Producers Program at the University of Southern California, and is currently based in Los Angeles, where she works as a Studio Executive.
