Oyenoye Uwidia was born in Washington, D.C. After a few years, her family moved to Merrillville, Indiana. The Nigerian-American actress first fell in love with acting when she was cast as "Lady Macbeth" for a school performance. The daughter of a General Surgeon, she later moved on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Miami University (Ohio), and completed her thematic sequence in Neuroscience. Throughout the years, Oyenoye never let go of her passion for acting. She moved to New York for a few years and took a few classes. She finally moved to Los Angeles to focus on acting. She studied with Aaron Speiser and Shannon Sturges for several years before booking roles in multiple commercial, tv and film projects.
