Annelise Forbes was born on September 6, 2004, and she is an actor, voice artist, singer and dancer from Canada. Annelise is passionately committed to all forms of the performing arts, having acted in professional theatre and worked on various television and animation projects in Toronto, Ontario. Her first on screen role in a major television production was for season one of "Umbrella Academy", starring Elliot Page. As a vocalist and theatre artist, Annelise has performed at various live events in the Toronto area, lending her talents for charity including "Grandmothers of Steel" in support of the Stephen Lewis foundation. Her favorite performance to date was for "Count Me In 2014" at The Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, Ontario, sharing the stage with Alli Simpson, Fifi Dobson and Luke Bilyk. Fun Fact: At the age of 9, Annelise had no formal training in singing, though sang constantly. Annelise rose to sudden fame in the winter of 2014 when her cover of Idina Menzel's "Let It Go" from the movie "Frozen" was discovered by multiple news outlets. She had originally recorded the song with the help of her Uncle Jesse Pitcher, as a gift to her family at Christmas. Her cover was then featured on Good Morning America, People, Perez Hilton, and many local news stations. She was interviewed by CNN and featured on The Rachael Ray show with a surprise appearance by Kristen Bell. She has been invited to perform live by many of the top daily talk shows and at events. Annelise is passionate about music, and plays both the piano and guitar. She is a dedicated collector of vinyl records of all genres with a special love for jazz. In 2020, Annelise was selected by Casting Director Stephanie Gorin as a musical theatre finalist for "Sing Out Help Out" which featured leading young artists from across Canada.
