Keiran Arthur is an Australian actor, puppeteer and film & television crew member. Keiran was born in Orange, NSW. He attended Bathurst High School. From a young age he developed an interest in Muppet style puppetry. Keiran graduated from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst, NSW with Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) in 2000. As a teacher, he often used his puppetry as a teaching tool and a behavior management technique. In 2011, Keiran started producing his Mr Arthur's Puppets Youtube channel as a means of sharing his puppetry talent with past and present students, but also a worldwide audience. In 2011, Keiran successfully auditioned for Season 6 of Australia's Got Talent (2007) as Mr Arthur's Puppets, which was televised on 30 April 2012. This experience changed Keiran's perspective as his puppetry skills were seen and discussed internationally through television and across blogs and social media. Keiran went from being a teacher who used puppets to being a puppeteer who was also a teacher. This experience sparked his interest in performing for film and television, not only as a puppeteer but also as an actor and extra in productions. Keiran's first acting role was as an extra in A Romantic Death (2013). He was involved as an extra in major Australian films The Little Death (2014) and Teenage Kicks (2016). His first supporting role in a feature film came when he successfully auditioned for the role of De Gobineau in Aryans (2017). In 2022 and 2023, Keiran has played characters in the television series Under Investigation (2021). In 2019, Keiran left teaching to attend JMC Academy in Sydney. He graduated in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Film and Television). He has worked on television productions such as My Mum, Your Dad Australia (2022), The Great Australian Bake Off (2013) and The Farmer Wants a Wife (2007).
