Jeremy Kerr was born in Colonial Heights, VA and grew up back-and-forth between Virginia and North Carolina. His father was a Southern Baptist minister, and his mother was a nurse. He began acting at age 10 when he was cast in a student film at Georgetown University. He then went on to play the lead role in a number of church productions, both musicals, and plays. Jeremy studied acting at Gardner-Webb University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Working alongside GWU's theater department, he also staged three of his short plays and was the Guest Artist in 2006. After moving to Brooklyn, NY, Jeremy spent six years as a marionette puppeteer at Puppetworks. He performed in more than twenty productions and directed two shows. His love of acting eventually called him back to the stage and screen, where he continues to develop as an artist. As Jeremy W. Kerr, he has authored the Young Adult science fiction novel "Runaways" and is working on the second book in the trilogy.
