Craig Nance

A native of Harlan, Iowa, musician Donald Craig Nance (b. 1948) has spent over five decades performing, writing and recording a variety of musical styles, as well as composing scores for, and acting in, the film productions of his friend and former band mate (1978-1984), writer-director Scott Allen Nollen. Possessing an endlessly inquiring intellect, Nance embraces a myriad of interests involving history, literature, and the performing arts. He is particularly fond of classical, jazz, Celtic folk and classic rock music. "I don't know which one of us has had the more influence on the other," recalled Nollen, "but it's been immeasurable. I'd say it's about even."
