Mayk Azzato is an Italian director and photo artist who resides in Frankfurt am Main in Germany. Over the last 30 years he has enjoyed a successful career in fine art and celebrity photography. His father, Agostino Azzoto was an internationally known photojournalist, so that at the age of 15 Mayk discovered a fascination of photography. His goal was to become an equally successful international photographer just as his father, Agostino, had been. After just a short while, Azzato's talent as a photographer, highlighting the perfect combination of Italian passion and creativity with German discipline and precision, attracted the attention of Art Buyer international agencies. Today, Mayk is a sought-after photographer whose list of clients include the companies and brands of, Jaguar Land Rover, Audi, BMW, Daimler Benz, Lufthansa, Escada, Nikon, Diesel, Diesel Black Gold, DFB, ZDF, Gellner, Fraport Airport, Sony, Pro7, Jako Sportswear ,Beiersdorf, Sony BMG, Timberland, Nivea, Arqueonautas, Jacques Lemans, Suzuki, Daniel Hechter, Procter & Gamble, Paul Mitchell, Iatitai, AIDA Cruises, Bentley, Louis Vuitton, HIS Jeans, Kare, Sixt, Small Luxury Hotels, Robinson Club, Juvia, Nintendo, as well as other well-known international brands. Alongside his work for these companies, he has photographed advertising campaigns and Editorials for Vanity Fair, Maxim, Bunte, FHM, GQ, and Vogue. He has also photographed countless CD-covers for international musicians. To date he has worked with many international celebrities including Kevin Costner, Seal, Outkast, 50 Cent, Bill Clinton, Snoop Doog, Andre3000, Estelle, Kim Wilde, Heidi Klum, Toni Garn,Vitali Klitschko, Lang Lang, Dr. Woo, Jögi Löw, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mario Barth, Tim Mälzer, Ray Stevenson, Brigite Nielsen, Ornella Muti, Brock O'Hurn, Ralf Moeller as well as others. Since his project entitled "Nobody is perfect," has begun in which he photographs celebrities in front of a police bookings or "mug-shot" backdrop, the mass media has shown great interest in the artist. Every year he schedules one or two openings for the exhibition, "Nobody is perfect" or for other projects which feature international celebrities, artists, musicians and politicians. His exhibitions and film screenings with up to 600 guests are always featured in the prime-time TV news as well as almost all Lifestyle magazines. Mayk's popularity has continually grown and he himself has become a public figure. His limited art calendars are auctioned off by sites like eBay for three to four figures. He has become a brand ambassador for brands like Nikon Lenses, Vertu, Maurice Lacroix, and Hensel performing Light, in which he uses his fame to promote the individual brands and to bring these campaigns on to the scene. Sometimes he also partially creates these campaigns. Mayk Azzato has also discovered a passion for movie and TV commercial making and has shot with many German and international actors. He has worked as a director and producer on movies like "The Arrival" with Kevin Costner and "The Key" with numerous other well-known actors. "The Key" won him the "Cannes Corporate Media & TV Award" and the "US International Film and Video Festival Award" and with "The Lounge" the World Houston Special Jury Award in 2018. One of his latest works, "My Name is Josy", won over 40 international Film Awards in Spain, Italty, Ukraine, UK, USA and Canada. Since 2012, Mayk Azzato has also discovered his creative vein for modern pop-art style painting, using a mix of different materials.
