Terence W. Yang is a director, writer and film editor, who studied cinema at School of Visual Arts in New York City. His fiction films included XIII (2018) and the feature film debut, A New Novel (2022); his non-fiction works included The Grandmother Dream (2018) and Chronicle of a Strike (2019); he also works as a film critic and translator. He is based in the east coast of China as of 2020, in his hometown of Ningbo.
