Michael Herbert-Smith

Michael Herbert-Smith is originally from Philadelphia PA. He began his acting career by portraying Santa Claus, a role he continues to enjoy playing today. He has appeared on German Television as "Der Weihnachtmann" in a television documentary of the same name (1994). He has appeared at many venues as a musician, playing places such as the Stone Pony in Asbury Park NJ and Havana Night Club in New Hope PA. Michael has portrayed Santa Claus every year since 1986 at such venues as Penn's Peak,Jim Thorpe PA, for the Dream Come True Foundation and the annual Tree Lighting at Palmer Square in Princeton New Jersey. He has appeared in various productions, having danced in the "Aquarius" chorus in the Philadelphia production of Hair (1976). Michael has done several Television and Radio commercials, providing both voice over talent and copy writing. He portrays "Dr. Troy" in the 2014 TV comedy "Soda Jerks". Michael was cast as Lazar Wolf in a Northeastern Pennsylvania production of Fiddler on the Roof, 2015.
