Trevor Riley is an American filmmaker, born and raised in Los Angeles California. As a youth, he appeared in many stage performances where he developed his craft and passion for acting. Trevor is best known for John Ridley's American Crime (2017) and John Wells' Animal Kingdom (2018) directed by David Rodriguez. Trevor's first short film The Human Element received many accolades and has been archived by the Shoah foundation, founded by Steven Spielberg. In addition, he is an accomplished writer and director. Trevor has written numerous television and feature scripts, which have been optioned and developed by various top tier companies and filmmakers alike. He is also a 2020 Academy Nicholl Semifinalist selected out of 7,831 entries. Some of the past Academy Nicholl Semifinalists Michael Arndt, Ava DuVernay, Stephen Falk, Mark Fergus, Vince Gilligan, Gavin Hood, David Levien, Damon Lindelof, Josh Marston, Melissa Rosenberg, Jon Spaihts, Frank Spotnitz, and Meredith Stiehm. He has launched Glass Features, an independent film and television production company which has a focus on shepherding and producing high quality narrative content.
