Sofia Kalinda

Sofia Kalinda, sang her way onto her first professional stage at the age of 8 with Director Richard Jay Alexander casting her in the role of Molly along side Andrea McArdle as Mrs. Hannigan. Sofia journey on the professional stages lead her to her roles with Opera Philadelphia in Carmen and Nabucco performing at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia. Sofia quickly expanded her acting with film and TV roles. She worked on the sets of Smash on NBC, Believe on NBC, Showtime's The Affair, Gotham on Fox, Person of Interest on CBS, in the role of Sofia in the Hunt with John Walsh, as Melissa Maquiera in The Perfect Murder, Gloria Olivo in The Perfect Murder, and other roles. Additionally, she has worked on the sets of the films True Story and Annie. Sofia's theatre credits include the role of Shprintze in Fiddler on the Roof, The Little Girl in Ragtime, Rosalind in AZA'IO-Opera, The title role in Hildegard Von Bingen : Bambina Mistica e La Vergine Nera performing in the United States and Italy. She has enjoyed performing to an audience of hundreds of thousands worldwide with Juanes during Pope Francis' visit to Philadelphia. Her performances at 54 Below in New York City and the Rockwell Table in Hollywood have been among her favorites.
