Vladimir Merisca is an actor, writer and filmmaker. He has appeared in episodes of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Blue Bloods, The Good Wife, Gotham, Alpha House, The Knick (Cinemax), A Crime to Remember, Mansions and Murders (ID Channel), Monsters Inside Me, Brain Games (NatGeo), Boardwalk Empire (HBO), Nurse Jackie (Showtime). Film titles include supporting roles in independent shorts, El Sicario (Dir. Erix Mercedes) and Holy Fire (Dir. Steven Bhiro). While he works as a freelance writer, Vladimir pursues acting in film, television and web series, and related creative endeavors, which includes participating in various improvisational and acting workshops like The Actor's Green Room (AGR). Vladimir studied filmmaking at Binghamton University under American experimental filmmaker Ken Jacobs, director of Tom, Tom, the Piper's Son. He then went on to broadcasting production at ABC, Inc in the mid-90s, where he wrote news pieces and coordinated live shots for news affiliates. In 2004, he earned his MA in Culture and Communication at New York University.
