Katy Doucette

A professionally trained writer, Katy has a Master of Arts from Carleton University. She published her first Young Adult novel, Bancroft Immortal, in 2007. She studied producing and directing at Vancouver Film School (VFS) in 2021 to supplement her ten years as an actor and model in the Calgary film and television industry. She has over seventeen years of experience in project management in the private, non-profit, and public sectors. She has combined these passions into her next film product based on an actual domestic trafficking file that draws from her real-life experience working with the VICE unit in business and undercover operations.
