Maribeth Romslo is a director, cinematographer and producer who believes that well-told stories have the power to change the world. Her feature film Dragonfly was selected for "Best of the Fest" at the 2016 Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival. In 2017, she created Handmade*Mostly, an original content series about creative women in the Midwest that she created in collaboration with Reese Witherspoon's new media platform Hello Sunshine. Amelia, the first film in her historical fiction series to inspire girls in STEM premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival Kids. She received a 2019 Minnesota Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant to produce Kitchen Dance, a conceptual dance film about the work of women and inspired by the Frankfurt kitchen. In 2020, Maribeth completed Raise Your Voice, a documentary about student free speech with the student journalists of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
