Born in Minnetonka, Minnesota, Jake Hammond is a Los Angeles-based writer/director/editor. He is a graduate of Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts where he earned a BFA in Film Production. His short horror film Pigskin (2016) won 15 awards in its festival run and screened at 40+ fests including Palm Springs ShortFest and New Orleans Film Festival. It is now streaming on ALTER. He has directed for CryptTV and spent two years as an editorial assistant for Marvel Studios in Burbank, CA. A diehard fan of horror films, Jake incorporates his favorite genre elements into his work from a LGBTQ perspective.
