Wilco C. Rullens, born on 26-11-1979, in Breda, The Netherlands, believes a film should leave the audience with a butterfly feeling of excitement. Therefore, Wilco thrives to produce emotional, cathartic, music driven, roller-coaster ride motion pictures, with a personal taste for action, horror and science fiction. After graduating from film school in Holland, travelling the world, working for a diverse selection of Multi-Nationals like Gucci, Goodyear and Siemens, and living in China for three years, he moved to Japan and co-founded Tokyo Bay Films Entertainment, Inc. His personal interest has always been Japan, for Wilco C. Rullens believes that Japanese movies have that right kind of kinetic energy he sees ideal and because those movies come the closest to how he makes his own. In the past few years he did line-production on various China and Hong Kong theatrical features, published a manga, has written and directed a 12 episode TV show: BLT Sandwich Cafe, and has written and directed the motion picture: Sheets: A Japanese Ghost's Story, for his label CultureSHOCK Japan. CultureSHOCK Japan is a label which borrows the beauty, creativity, vision and energy of Japanese talent, cast and creators to make low-budget Japanese movies with Western storytelling, about Japanese culture, with American leads, targeting the Western local audience to showcase Japanese talent, cast and creators so they have a chance to get discovered.
