Isabella Jessup is a 17 year old Indigenous actor compiling film and theatre credits. On stage, she recently played the female lead "Barangaroo" in Pete Malicki's '1790: A Tale Not Often Told' at Sydney's Monkey Baa Theatre (November 2014). In 2013, she starred as Velma Kelly (lead) in a NSW regional production of Chicago. Her latest film role was Gabriella in the audacious "Project: One Shot" at Sanctuary Cove (directed by Darwin Brooks). She is currently studying in Sydney on the TAFTA 20-week course. Although young, Isabella has worked with ensemble groups to create entire shows, student films, plays and musical productions including 'The Naughty Kid', 'Armchair' and 'The Program' (by Denny Prussian), Copacabana (the musical) and 'The Captain & Bell' (a live cabaret show). Isabella dedicates her 'spare time' to improving her resume and is currently broadening her skill-set by attending relevant workshops with professional producers, directors and casting agents. Isabella wants to be the next lead actor in a Tim Burton directed film. Her ambition is to represent the characters she reads.
