Stephen Chase

Stephen began his career as an actor in 1989, first working as background before landing principal roles. During his career in front of the camera, he's worked with some of the industry's top talent, both in front and behind the camera. In the early 1990's, Stephen began financing and producing and directing short films before moving into feature films and television movies of the week. Having developed relationships with the top studios in Hollywood, Stephen launched a production consulting business, where he would serve as a "Ghost Producer", pitching selected film projects to studios, and assisting films with financial packaging through production. In later years, while continuing his work as an actor, producer, director, and production consultant, Stephen began writing screenplays. As a few projects sold, he was approached to be a "Ghost Writer" on a feature film project. The screenplay went on to receive nominations and awards. Stephen has gone on to serve as a "Ghost Writer" on several successful motion pictures. Today, Stephen runs Motion Scope Entertainment, a motion picture and television production company in Los Angeles. The company has built a relationship with distributors, financial and production entities, and continues to develop as well as acquire new projects for production.
